GETTING Around

Wedding Day Logistics: Burning Sky Farm is located in Longmont, Colorado, approximately 45 miles from Denver International Airport (DIA) and about 15 minutes from Boulder. All guests are welcome to use the provided transportation from downtown Boulder to the wedding venue. More info to come regarding pickup locations and schedule. Otherwise, we recommend using a ride-share service to get to the venue as there is limited parking available onsite.

Altitude adjustment

Burning Sky Farm sits at a higher elevation typical of the Colorado Front Range. With the altitude in mind, we encourage guests to stay hydrated, take it easy upon arrival, and plan ahead to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable wedding weekend with us.

TIPS + TRiCKS

DRINK WATER! - Before your trip to Colorado, and while you are here, drinking plenty of water is the number one way to help your body adjust easily to our higher altitude. The low humidity in Colorado keeps the air dry, like the desert, so you need about twice as much water here as you would drink at home!

Monitor Your Alcohol Intake - In Colorado's rarified air, golf balls go ten percent farther… and so do cocktails. Alcoholic drinks pack more of a punch than at sea level. It is recommended that you go easy on the alcohol in the mountains and in Denver, as its effects will feel stronger here.
